Vandalia Recreation Center Facility Rentals
The Vandalia Recreation Center offers area-specific rentals during regular operating hours, as well as after-hours for larger groups.
Areas include: Pool, Gymnasium, Climbing Wall, Special Events Room, Conference Room.
Area Specific Rental Rates
Special Events Room
The Special Events Room is available to rent during VRC operating hours. Maximum Occupancy: 50 people
Note: Only certain rentals are allowed in this room. The VRC does not allow dinners or other food related room rentals.

Conference Room
The Conference Room is available to rent during VRC operating hours. Maximum Occupancy: 15 people

Gymnasium

Climbing Wall
The Climbing Wall is available to rent during VRC operating hours. A waiver is required to climb the wall, the participant must be six years of age or older and must wear closed-toe shoes while climbing. Crocs or clog-like shoes are not allowed to be used to climb. All climbing wall rentals must be a minimum of 2 hours.

After Hours Rental Packages
The VRC has several options for after hours rentals! Please note: all requests for after hours need to be submitted via the request form below a month in advance. After hour rentals during the months of September through May can only be booked on the weekends. After hour rentals during the months of June through August can be book every day of the week.
4 Hour After Hours Rental Package
Includes: 4 hours of the Aquatic Center, Climbing Wall, Gymnasium, Special Events Room & Lobby. Rentals are only allowed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Cassel Hills Golf Course Clubhouse
Cassel Hills Tudor Clubhouse is popular for small groups and intimate events. The Clubhouse can seat up to 80 guests, but is ideally suited for 20-60 guests.

Athletic Field Rentals
The Vandalia Parks and Recreation Department offers the Public use of our facilities at the Sports Complex. Please contact Maecie Burkhardt with questions regarding field rentals.
