Facility Rentals

The Vandalia Recreation Center also offers area-specific rentals during regular operating hours as well as after-hours and overnight rentals for larger groups. View our area specific rental rates (PDF) and submit the online Rental Request Form.

Track

The teardrop-shaped walking and jogging track overlooks the atrium. From here you can see the climbing wall, fitness area, gymnasium, aquatic center, and Sports Complex. A stretching/warm-up area is located along the track. Our track is 1/16 of a mile long. Read our Indoor Track Rules (PDF).

Gym Rentals

The gymnasium has one large 84 foot by 50-foot basketball court and two 74 foot by 43-foot basketball cross-courts. There are six basketball goals with glass backboards. The gymnasium can also be set up to accommodate two volleyball courts or three pickleball courts. Thank you to Premier Orthopedics for being the Vandalia Recreation Center (VRC) gymnasium sponsor!

The Vandalia Recreation Center gymnasium is available for rent during regular operating hours April through December. After-hour gymnasium rentals are available year-round.
