2025 Vandalia Holiday Market Vendor Application

  2. It is mutually agreed upon between the City of Vandalia Parks and Recreation Department (“Lessor”) and the "Lessee" that 1 (one) space, that is 10'x6', shall be rented at no cost for the Holiday Market to be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 4:00 PM-7:30 PM, at the Vandalia Recreation Center.


    Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee you a spot for this Event.

  16. Contact Person is the responsible party that will ensure all Contract Conditions are met.

  23. Contract Conditions

    The Lessor will accept this contract under the following conditions:

    1. The Lessee agrees to decorate their own booth, provide their own tables and chairs, remove all their property promptly at the close of the special event and further agrees not to sell or give away anything or any article not specifically requested or permitted by the Lessor. 
    1. The Lessee agrees to provide a gift basket (minimum $50 value basket) for the Holiday Raffle during the Event. The gift basket must be turned in before Sunday, November 30, 2025. The gift basket can be turned in at the Vandalia Recreation Center Front Desk. If the vendor does not turn in their raffle basket by that date, the vendor will be removed from the event.
    1. The Lessee agrees that the location of said space shall be determined by the City of Vandalia.
    1. The Lessee agrees to hold Lessor full and harmless from any liability or damages to Lessee’s workers or property during the setup, operation, or removal of display. 
    1. The Lessee agrees to abide by all rules and policies set by the City of Vandalia. 
    1. The Lessee can begin set-up at 1:30 PM on the day of the event and agrees to be set up and ready to operate by 3:45 PM.
    1. Payment for vendor spots are non-refundable. Under certain circumstances, including, but not limited to, inclement weather, sickness/death in family, and other unforeseeable circumstances, a refund may be issued. The City has the right to issue or withhold a refund in these circumstances.


  27. By signing your name here you, the Lessee, acknowledge that you have read and fully understand the Contract Conditions. Additionally, that this is a request, and if approved, you will be contacted by a VRC representative to confirm the reservation.
