Helke Park has numerous amenities on its 30.5 acres. This includes a playground, six tennis courts (with lights), eight pickleball courts (with lights), two softball fields, a 9-hole disc golf course, soccer fields, restrooms, a drinking fountain, two shelters, a Little Free Library, a charging station for electronics, and plenty of open space for play. It is open to the public and follows the Vandalia Parks and Recreation Park Rules and Regulations.

The restrooms will be closed from October 31 through the winter months to prevent the pipes from freezing. They will be reopened in the Spring when the weather is guaranteed to stay above freezing. Please plan your visit to the park accordingly. Thank you for your understanding.
