Elected to Council November, 2019

Councilmember Constance Woods has lived in Vandalia for more than 35 years.

As a founding partner of both the Certified Public Accounting firm Woods & Woods Associates, and the Financial Planning firm Woods Financial Group, she brings with her a strong background in finance and business management.  

Woods holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, she is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and Personal Financial Specialist. 

“My reason for running for a council position is to share my financial expertise with the community,” she said. “Our creator blessed each of us with a special set of skills and feel it would be self-centered to only utilize these skills for personal gain.”

As a councilmember, her priorities are to help the city create a safe environment to foster economic development and work co-operatively with agencies and other jurisdictions in the region to accomplish this task.

Woods is involved as a committee or board member with a number of organizations, including the Vandalia Development Corporation, Rotary Club of Vandalia, OH, Vandalia United Methodist Church, Woodland Meadows Homeowners’ Assn, West Ohio United Methodist Conference, and the Ohio Society of CPAs.

Her hobbies include pursuing art and design projects and fly fishing.
