2008-2009  Youth Basketball Sign Ups

Registration will begin Monday, October 6th at 6am for all youth basketball programs including the 3rd-6th grade league, high school rec (7th-9th grade), and the 1st and 2nd grade instructuional program.

Fees:  3rd-6th grade basketball- $30 resident; $40 non-resident.  High School rec (7th-12th grade)- $25 resident; $35 non-resident.  1st and 2nd grade instructional- $20 resident; $25 non-resident.

Further info will be given when signing up.  ALL registration will take place at the VRC front desk!

24th Annual Turkey Shoot- Saturday, November 15th at 10am!

This fun-for-the family event has earned our community, state, and national recreation awards.  Two-member teams, one adult and one child from the same family will shoot foul shots to earn points toward a turkey gift certificate from Bowman-Landes for their Thanksgiving feast!  Our youngest competitors up to 8 years old will shoot at a lowered basket.  There will be a winning team in each age division.  Ages are from 4 years old to 17 years old.  Fee is $4 per resident team and $6 per non resident team.
